MEDIA ADVISORY: TYSONS TUNNEL RALLY SET FOR TONIGHT
Attendees will learn about Dulles Metrorail latest developments,
prospects for a tunnel under Tysons Corner

Tysons Corner, Va. (July 9, 2007)—TysonsTunnel.org will hold a town hall meeting this evening in Falls Church to update concerned Northern Virginians on the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project and on a proposed tunnel under Tysons Corner.

TysonsTunnel.org scheduled the town hall meeting after receiving an overwhelming number of local citizen and business owner demands for information about the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project and the prospects for a tunnel. The requests for the update session were made by residents of the Falls Church, Merrifield, Dunn Loring areas and numerous other Northern Virginia communities.

The 90-minute session will include a technical presentation by engineers, tunnel experts and other underground transportation experts focusing on the benefits of a tunnel as well as a presentation by TysonsTunnel.org President Scott A. Monett encouraging continued support for a tunnel and explaining how the organization is working toward a hoped-for compromise that would result in a tunnel as part of the railway through Tysons Corner.
